We erected scaffolding to the front of the house to enable safe access to the gable end.
The wooden Tudor boards were removed and white composite render board was installed around the dormer window. Composite render board is a coated aluminum panel, which unlike traditional concrete render, doesn’t require painting or maintenance.
The new Replica Wood boards were then fixed over the top of the render board and screwed to the wall. The holes were then plugged with composite pegs to give the finished installation the exact appearance of traditional oak beams.
With the Tudor beams replaced we then installed anthracite grey fascia boards, white plain soffit and black guttering.
